We are a Chinese takeaway food business, we provide food for collection and delivery.

 

THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We collect the personal data of the following types of people to allow us to undertake our business:

• Your name.

• Contact telephone number this may be a mobile or home phone number.

• Your address which includes door number, house name, street name and post code.

 

Our Legal Justifications

Our legal justification for the processing of personal data is our legitimate business interest, described in greater detail below.

 

Our Legitimate Business Interests

As a Chinese takeaway and delivery business it is paramount to record and store your contact details to provide customers with the main functions or our service:

• Collection orders – your name and contact number will be recorded, to allow us to identify you and contact you if there are any problems with the order.

• Home delivery –  any new customer’s address and contact number will be automatically recorded on our computer system. This is to make the process for future deliveries easier; we need your address to deliver the food correctly and your contact number so we can get in touch if there are any problems with the order.

 

Where we store and process your personal data

The data that we collect from you is stored on our computer system (password protected) and does not leave the premises. The computer is not connected to the internet, so, there is no risk from online hacking and malicious malware. It will only be processed by staff operating on the premises while fulfilling customer orders.

 

Retention of your data

We understand our legal duty to retain accurate data and only for as long as we need it for our legitimate business interests and provided that you are happy for us to do so.

Your rights

You have the right to ask us not to process your personal data for business purposes, however, we will be regretful in saying that we will be unable to provide the call and collection or home delivery service.

• Request correction of the personal information that we hold about you. This enables you to have any incomplete or inaccurate information we hold about you corrected.

• Request erasure of your personal information. This enables you to ask us to delete or remove personal information where there is no good reason for us continuing to process it.
